The MISSION of The American National Bank of DeKalb County is to provide the best “Personable” service backed by quality commercial banking products to both the consumer and small business markets in the DeKalb/Sycamore area while simultaneously maximizing investment return to the shareholders of The American National Bank of DeKalb County and maintaining compliance and regulatory requirements.

More specifically, The American National Bank of DeKalb County plans to concentrate on the following types of business:

All types of consumer lending (including credit card operations) with a targeted emphasis on direct consumer loans and indirect sales finance to businesses involved in the R V and auto industry.
Commercial lending to small and medium size businesses.
Real Estate lending with an emphasis on residential properties qualifying for secondary market financing and selected portfolio products with ARM and Balloon maturities.
Deposit growth via the development, design, and delivery of quality deposit products.
Fiduciary activities via the promotion and expansion of trust and asset management activities.
Continued expansion of Insurance services and products to meet the needs of consumers and commercial businesses.
Continued expansion of Tax & Payroll Services for individuals and businesses.
Continued development of the Investment Center non-deposit products targeted to retail customers.
